We were founded in Houston by one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. We are the nation’s first HMO focused on children. Since then, we have grown to cover more than 600,000 residents.

Recognised for its national relevance and global impact, MakSPH regained its stand-alone status in 2025 and is guided by its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan to advance knowledge for societal transformation.

AFTERSCHOOL GEEKERY UGANDA
Afterschool Geekery is a digital education program that provides free digital literacy, programming, and robotics courses for children in vulnerable communities. In Europe, the program runs in Hungary, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Afterschool Geekery Uganda implements the program in East Africa.
