1. Education and Development

Through the ‘Educate A Child‘ campaign, we believe that girls and boys will be able to change their own lives and those of their families at large. Our key service areas include:
- Supporting vulnerable children with Scholastic materials
- Career guidance and Provision of emergency sanitary Pads
- Capacity building of teacher protagonists to create child friendly and safe school environment for children to live.
2. Economic Stability & Security

Through skills development & capacity building, families are able to increase their household incomes.
Activities include:
- Financial literacy training of Village Saving and Loans Associations and women groups.
- Selection, Planning & Management of Income Generating Activities (SPM)
- Business Model Canvas (BMC) : formulation of business idea or concept
- Training and Capacity Building of Board and Staff
3. Child Protection
We are champions of protection of Violence against Children. We identify and train Community Based Facilitators (CBFs) on the 5 Parenting For Respectability modules. The CBFs then organize parents in their communities into groups of 15 – 20 members and train them in the same modules with technical backstopping from project program staffs. The modules are;
- Bonding and attachment,
- Positive discipline,
- Gender,
- Spousal relationships and
- Males’ Involvement.

4. Health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (HWASH)
We strengthen community systems for the prevention & elimination of HIV, Tuberculosis and Gender Based Violence through psycho-social services, counseling, sensitization and outreaches to people infected and affected by HIV, TB and GBV . To date, CDI has served more than 500 individuals and family members through its community services.
